Apparel was the last category we added to the shop, and it is the one people ask about most. Here is how a shirt actually gets made on our bench.
Nothing is pre-printed
We do not keep a shelf of finished shirts waiting for a buyer. Every tee, hoodie, and tote is pressed after the order comes in. It is slower per unit, and it means we never guess wrong on a size run or sit on a colour that stopped selling. It also means the colour you pick is the colour that gets pressed, not whatever was left in the bin.
How a shirt moves through the bench
- Cut: the design is weeded by hand from vinyl, one colour at a time. Fine lettering and thin outlines are the fussy part, and they are the reason we would rather press one good shirt than rush ten.
- Heat: the press runs at a set temperature and pressure for a set time. Skipping seconds here is how prints peel in the wash, so we do not skip them.
- Cool and check: the transfer comes off warm, then the print gets a look over. If an edge lifted, the shirt does not ship. It gets re-pressed or it does not leave.
- Fold and bag: flat, clean, ready to wear or gift.
What holds up, and what we would steer you away from
Single colour vinyl is the workhorse. It is crisp on text, bold on simple shapes, and it survives real wear. Very fine gradients and photo-real artwork are a different process, and for those we will tell you honestly that a printed transfer is the better route than anything we can cut by hand. We would rather lose a sale than send you something that looks tired after five washes.
Care is simple: wash inside out, cold, and tumble low or hang dry. That is it. Do that and the print will outlast the shirt.
Sizes, colours, small runs
Small runs are the whole point. A team of six, a birthday set, one shirt for one person who wants a specific colour - all of it is fair game. If you need a size or colour that is not listed, ask before you order and we will check what we can get.
Ordering
Pick your item and colour in the shop, and note the size in the order. If you want a design that is not on the site yet, send it over through the contact page and we will tell you straight away whether it works in vinyl or needs a different method.
